Vaccarello Upped At MSG Live

Josephine Vaccarello has been promoted at MSG Live to senior VP effective immediately.

It’s the latest move for the MSG veteran, who has served as VP, concerts, family entertainment and ticketing for MSG Live. Vaccerello will continue to oversee family entertainment and ticketing and report to MSG Live EVP Darren Pfeffer.

In her new role, Vaccarello will be responsible for family entertainment and performing arts and Madison Square Garden, the Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the Beacon Theater, The Chicago Theatre and the Wang Theatre in Boston.

She’ll continue to support the booking department across MSG Live’s portfolio to  maximize overall growth to the business, increase awareness and help Pfeffer identify and develop live content across all venues.

Vaccarello’s career contributions to MSG include securing arena shows like Z100’s Jingle Ball, Kevin Hart, a multi-market deal for Louis C.K., and played a key role in securing Billy Joel’s Madison Square Garden residencies.

“In my tenure at The Madison Square Garden Company, I have had the opportunity to both work on and experience some of the most extraordinary events in live entertainment,” Vaccarello said.  “I am excited to continue to contribute to the success of MSG Live in my new and expanded role and play a part in delivering the best of the best in live entertainment to both our clients and customers.”

Vaccarello joined the company under Radio City Entertainment in 1998 and transitioned in 2000 to the position of coordinator, concerts and entertainment and was elevated in the department from manager, to director to VP.  She is a graduate of SUNY, Albany with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
