The reunited band, featuring Eddie Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Alex Van Halen and new bassist Wolfgang Van Halen, held a press conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles today to announce the first set of dates.

The band will launch their assault on North American arenas September 27 at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena in North Carolina. Other tour highlights so far include stops at Wachovia Center in Philadelphia (October 1), Air Canada Centre in Toronto (October 7), Allstate Arena and United Center in Chicago (October 16 and 18), Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo. (October 26), Madison Square Garden in New York City (November 12), San Diego Sports Arena (November 25), Key Arena in Seattle (December 3), Rexall Place in Edmonton, A.B. (December 9), and the Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary, A.B. (December 11). Additional dates are expected.

Opening for the band on all dates will be Ky-Mani Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley.
