This is not your ordinary tour. Playing only seven cities, Lucha VaVOOM will amaze you with acrobatic feats and exhibition-style wrestling. In between bouts, you’ll enjoy the finest burlesque this side of the Rio Grande. This is one show you don’t want to miss.

Who can possible ride herd on this wrestling/burlesque/comedy extravaganza? That would be master of ceremonies Blaine Capatch. Joining Capatch in what will be your wackiest night of the year are a rotating bunch of comedians that changes from city to city, helping to call matches and offering those all-important play-by-plays.

The upcoming Viva Lucha VaVOOM tour begins in Los Angeles at the Mayan Theatre May 5, plays Philadelphia at The Trocadero May 7 and body slams Baltimore at Sonar May 8.

Then it’s on to the Big Apple for a show at Webster Hall May 9; back to the West Coast to play San Francisco at The Fillmore May 14 and then up the coast to Seattle for a gig at the Showbox SoDo May 16. The tour actually caps one month later in Chicago at the Just For Laughs Festival June 16.

Of course, mere words on a computer screen can’t describe Lucha VaVOOM’s patented brand of “sexo y violencia.” That’s why God created YouTube.
