Walk Off The Earth To Play Red Rocks, Wembley On Massive 2019 Tour

Canadian indie-pop group Walk Off The Earth announced a sprawling 2019 world tour that will take them to iconic stages from Morrison, Colo.’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre to London’s Wembley Arena.

Though Walk Off The Earth has three February gigs slated for their home country, the string of dates begins in earnest in mid-May. The band kicks the first of two American legs off May 14 at Salt Lake City’s The Depot and wraps the stint June 1 at The Fillmore in Philadelphia. Later that month, they head to Europe before returning for three gigs in the Pacific Northwestern from July 30 to August 3.
The bookings represent a leap forward for the group. For instance, last time Walk Off The Earth played Detroit, on July 6, 2017, they sold out The Majestic Theatre, with 1,100 tickets sold for a gross of $31,900. This time they’ll play The Fillmore Detroit, which holds nearly 2,900.
When Walk Off The Earth played Portland, Ore., on March 6, they sold out McMenamins Crystal Ballroom, with 1,457 tickets sold for a gross of $43,765. On Aug. 1, 2019, they’ll play the

The band, which took home the Group of the Year honor at the 2016 Juno Awards, also announced that their fifth album will arrive in early summer 2019, just in time to coincide with their world tour.
