A Whitney Houston hologram tour, which has been rumored for at least four years, was confirmed by the company BASE Hologram on Tuesday.

“An Evening With Whitney: The Whitney Houston Hologram Tour” will debut a hologram tour devoted to the legacy of the singer, who died in 2012, on a Mexican tour from Jan. 23 to Feb. 9, for which dates have yet to be specified.

The tour will continue with then continue overseas with an 11-date U.K. tour that begins at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena 2 Arena on Feb. 27 and concludes at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on March 10.

From there, a European tour begins at Brussels’ Bozar on March 12 and concludes at Minsk’s Palace of the Republic on April 3, hitting cities including Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna, Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm along the way.

“Whitney is not with us but her music will live with us forever,” said Pat Houston, Houston’s former manger and president and CEO of her estate, said in a statement. “We know we made the right decision partnering with BASE because they understand how important it is to produce a phenomenal hologram. They also know that engaging her fans with an authentic Whitney experience would resonate worldwide because of the iconic status that she created over three decades. Her fans deserve nothing less because she gave nothing less than her best.”

Added choreographer Fatima Robinson, who is serving as the show’s creative director: “Whitney was a musical trailblazer and I’m extremely honored to have this opportunity to help craft this show in her honor. I always enjoyed watching this magnificent woman and voice on stage and to be able to play a role in recreating that and helping others have those same emotions and experience is special.”

The news comes as BASE, which presented a Roy Orbison hologram tour last fall, prepares to launch the “Rock ‘N’ Roll Dream” hologram tour, featuring renderings of Orbison and Buddy Holly, on Sept. 20 in San Francisco.

The announcement also marks another success for the company after an Amy Winehouse hologram tour was postponed indefinitely.

“We approach them like we’re producing a full Broadway show,” BASE Hologram CEO Marty Tudor said in a Pollstar Live! panel about augmented and virtual reality in February.
