Willie Nelson will perform a series of intimate shows in March from his legendary Luck Ranch home as part of Luck Presents’ Spring Concert Series, marking the first time the artist’s own individual shows will take place at the venue.

Nelson is to perform in support of his upcoming album, A Beautiful Time, on March 20 and 26 and April 2. The Spring Concert Series includes Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit with Danielle Ponder on March 18, followed by Shakey Graves & Friends on March 19, and Modest Mouse on April 29. Luck Presents’ Spring Concert Series is a welcome and overdue addition to the Austin-area music scene, providing music fans with one of the most unique live experiences in the country.
Luck Ranch is the “mythical” western town and movie set of Nelson’s 1985 film “Redheaded Stranger” located just outside of Austin, Texas. It now doubles as a venue space, best known for its “Luck Reunion” concerts featuring many of Nelson’s friends and fellow artists during South By Southwest.
Tickets for all shows will go on sale Friday, March 4 at 10 am CST and can be purchased here
The Spring Concert Series will follow the 10th annual Luck Reunion on March 17, which boasts more than 40 acts, culinary experiences with chefs from around the country, and unique experiences throughout the town, giving music lovers the rare opportunity to hang out in Nelson’s backyard, nestled in the rolling hill country just outside of Austin.
This year’s Reunion lineup features Willie Nelson and Family, Japanese Breakfast, Allison Russell, Weyes Blood, Steve Gunn, Delta Spirit, Sunflower Bean, Black Lips, Charley Crockett, Lost Gonzo Band with Michael Martin Murphey, Adia Victoria, and many more.

Luck Presents is a cultural collective headquartered at Nelson’s “Luck, TX” property.  Anchored by its flagship event, the annual Luck Reunion, Luck Presents creates experiences that embrace the past while cultivating new traditions in American roots culture. In addition to the Reunion, the brand activates events and content that showcase musicians, chefs, and creatives.
A prolific touring force, the 89-year-old Nelson has mounted a nearly never-ending tour, pulling over only in deference to the COVID pandemic, with extensive outings – including outings with Bob Dylan and John Mellencamp – every year this century.
Of shows reported to Pollstar since 1999, Nelson has played at least 1,126 concerts, moved more than 3.3 million tickets, and grossed more than $174 million – and that’s just since 1999. He averages 3,217 tickets per show and a gross of $169,145, not adjusted for inflation.
Over a seven-decade career, Nelson has earned every conceivable accolade as a musician and a reputation as an author, actor and activist, remaining a relevant musical and cultural force. He has been especially prolific in recent years, releasing more than a dozen new albums, authoring a New York Times Top 10 bestselling book, and even earning a 5th degree black belt in Gong Kown Yu Sul. He continues to headline the annual Farm Aid benefit that he co-founded and launched cannabis companies under the Willie’s Reserve and Willie’s Remedy brands.
An American treasure, he’s the recipient of a Gershwin Prize for Popular Song awarded by the Library of Congress.
